• Heartsaver® CPR AED

  Instructor Led, Classroom Course

  Featuring hands-on CPR AED training, the American Heart Association Heartsaver ® CPR AED course covers:

  • Adult CPR
  • Adult AED Use
  • Adult Choking

  Available optional modules include:

  • Child CPR & AED Use
  • Infant CPR & Choking

  The American Heart Association Heartsaver ® CPR AED course is intended for all individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, including:

  • Airline Personnel
  • Fitness Instructors (Aerobics, Yoga, Pilates, Personal Trainers, etc.)
  • Lifeguards
  • Police Officers
  • Security Guards

  It is also appropriate for lay rescuers who may have a need to respond to an emergency in the workplace, and family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.

  Course length is approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours.

  An American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED Course Completion Card will be issued to those students who attend the course and successfully pass the course skills test. Card is valid for two (2) years.

  *As per American Heart Association rules, you are required to have the  current 2011 American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED Textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during and after the class, you are not required to purchase one here. Otherwise you should purchase it during registration (Cost $12). No one will be allowed to participate in this class without the required textbook. 7 Day advanced purchase required, otherwise add $10 to above fees.
